Bob's history, as documented on video, is vast. I wish only to provide a glimpse of the transformation of Bob in a few videos. I will post these as pre-iON and post-iON. It is great to watch these videos of Bob pre-iON, knowing that this man has no idea what is about to befall him (or maybe he does).

Bob is interviewed on the street by Will Erokan in May of 2010 in this series of videos. Bob gives a great, spontaneous overview of the pre-iON environment, and brings in iON.

In addition to more recent, public interviews outside of PAYDAY, Bob (and, on occasion, iON) began appearing on a radio show called, "Step Back", hosted by Jack McClinton, a former member of the University of Miami Hurricanes men's basketball team. iONauts

​

There was a term coined, likely by iON, for those who embraced iON and what iON represented. The spelling has changed over the years, but the most recent spelling is "iONauts", which refers to astronauts in the "new" space that is iON/iONdom.

​

Many of these iONauts have made their own space to create and share material inspired by iON. Here are just a few that I was able to find.

During one of iON's absences, which began in early 2017 and lasted for 22 months, an individual began posting very compelling and intriguing messages on the 4chan message board, and signing their posts with the letter "Q". The first "Q" post took place on October 28, 2017, about six months since iON's last appearance on PAYDAY.

The "Q" messages took the Internet by storm, and created ripple effects like the world has never seen, including being recognized by Time Magazine as one of the 25 most influential people in the world.

​

When iON returned in 2019, 22 months after their last appearance, we were able to learn more about Q. iON referred to Q as a "bump" from another world; that there was an angelic, or astral element to Q. We also learned that Q was a substitute for iON on behalf of Trump while iON was away.

​

Q's last post was made on 12/8/2020, and they have been silent since. At this point, we are not sure if Q will return, but I found a couple of related audio clips below that are relevant.

As intriguing as "Q" was, there is still nothing that can approximate the environment of iON/iONdom. Everything else becomes a tired retread, or a recycling of past memes and themes.

​

iON represents something truly new. As iON said it, "First there was Christendom; then there was Templardom; now, there will be iONdom." That's a pretty lofty statement, but so far as I can tell, the potential is there.
